Updating My Makeup Bag

Since the beginning of this semester, I've become extra interested in growing up a little bit and investing in some big girl makeup.  But here's the thing--makeup is expensive.  As much as I love Sephora, spending so much money on makeup is tough for me. But, I've devised a kind of investment plan, where I can build my good quality makeup stock without dropping over $100 at once.

I started in February, buying this concealer that I'm in love with.  Now, each month I'm going to invest in a new item until my collection is complete.  That way, I can buy myself my treats each month, take more trips to the makeup geniuses and not kill myself at the checkout.

Pretty inventive, right? :)

Side note: I did actually buy lipstick last month but I lost it at a party. :(

    If you want good brushes and don't want to drop a bunch of cash, have you ever tried Real Techniques? Experts the Pixiwoo girls use them, Sam created them, and I know so many girls who totally love them. I'm completely in love with them. I blogged about them! :)

    I also do that. Make-up is my passion. Every payday, I also treat myself with one also! :)

    I'm really really into Benefit Cosmetics. Probably about 95% of my make up is Benefit. you should check 'em out!

    Purchasing higher-end makeup is worth it. It usually lasts longer and is better quality.
